However, with 1 year left on his contract Arse don't want to lose him for next to nothing next year (under 24 so can still get a fee). He doesn't want to sign unless money is too good to turn down. Take him on loan for x games, with a buy clause at the end of it, similar to the Mateta arrangement. If he does not work out he goes back, if he does, then they get a fee agreed up front. If they want to keep him longer term, give him a new contract, then loan him out. Rather hoping we return Mateta and go for Edouard instead. Would also prefer Lookman over Nelson.
