I thought Olise had a hairline fracture in his shoulder. That’s what the club were waiting to heal which of course normally will do by itself.

That’s what I heard anyway.

Let's hope he is a quick healer shoulder injuries can be a real pain and as you save you just have to let nature takes it's course. I hope they have an oxygen tent.

Well I know from experience that a shoulder injury related to tendons may never fully heal but bones fix themselves and a hairline fracture is just a matter of rest and time.

He never missed one game for Reading through injury last year, cant be that bad, surely

Because he doesn't want to play for us and we ONLY want dedicated Palace players.

Tbf I was of this opinion, certainly last season. However having seen him v Ipswich and Watford pre season he definitely looks happier, don’t know if it’s the PV effect or what but Wilf looks dedicated and up for it that can only be a positive.

The club posted he would be assessed before Chelsea so maybe nearer than we feared.

Perhaps him and Andersen will make an appearance for U23s today. 1pm on Palace tv against Brentford. I wonder if this has been arranged at short notice for this exact reason?

That'd be an unexpected boost but I guess Olise is unlikely to feature as I've not seen that he's even been involved in training. I guess Andersen will definitely play a part though.

Any idea if it's free to watch on Palace TV?

Well I was wrong. No Andersen either... he'll still be a few weeks away from the first team then I guess.
