I'm surprised this one has gone so quiet!! I'm assuming it is because Rak-Sakyi has emerged as a special talent, so Vieira now thinks we do not need Rogers?

Quite possibly. He is clearly pleased with Rak-Sakyi (per his post match interview last night) and I was intrigued by his comments about Scott Banks. It may be that he sees the two of them as part answer for the wide positions in which case why bring in Rogers? Also our apparent interest in Lookman and Madueke suggest that Rogers would only have been a back-up wide player in any case.

With Danjuma off to Spain for the season the promise of game time in the Championship trumps warming the bench at Palace in the Prem - that’s fair enough.
