I think that you are talking about supermarket products. we buy sausages and mince meat from a quality butcher and there is a world of difference. Often if they have run out of mince meat they will make more in front of us and we can see that it's just "proper meat" that goes in it

Sausages and burger are not pretend meat at all yes cheap branded ones do have a bunch of fillers in them but they still have meat in and if you really want to you can find good quality a lot of people go for cheap or stick to brands thinking they are quality when they are not. Burgers are very easy to make anyway with mince. McD is real beef that is a fact so this whole padded out etc is BS. (quality wise and the way it is processed I wont comment on) You don't really know much about meat do you fat is part of meat you want fatty cuts. (I bet you are one of those scared of fat or very picky about it) Mince meat again you can get different types and a variety of quality The chewy bits this could be a number of things ranging from fat to collagen even cartilage all are fine. The standards in this country are good go to countries outside EU you will really see how poor it is.

Typical vegan tactics don't understand something which goes against their ideology be dogmatic I rest my case about your grammar. Wtf are Vegan tactics? Similar to those of the meat/diary industry? I have no idea what you are talking about, you last sentence makes no sense. You obviously do not have the ability to be civil which is a poor reflection on you. No point in continuing this,as it doesn’t help Eze get fit Edited by Spiderman (22 May 2021 8.36pm)

Correct you have no idea what you are talking about finally you own it. If you want to talk about industries how about doing a bit of research that is not coming from vegan sites. Already covered this before a lot of the big companies are invested in meat and plants trying to get rid of meat why is that because its about £ Big pharma is also onboard these people don't care about human health they want you sick for many years again making £ If you even understand basic human physiology you would know this. Their is no multi generation vegans.

i am pescatarian & have been all my life. there are burgers, sausages & mince out there that taste amazing, and even tho they are made from soya are better for the planet than meat alternatives! im not interested in vegetarian bacon, steak & fish as in my eyes that is ridiculous and crosses a line. lots of people i know who eat meat actually prefer the vegetarian alternatives. also, forget the alternatives....chickpeas, lentils & beans provide a much better, cleaner form of protein than anything meat/fish could provide. for me, im not against anybody eating meat, you can do what you want...just dont try and belittle what i do & i wont prove you wrong!

Personally I like plant based fish but can understand why some don’t. As I have said before dairy free ice cream is some of the best I have ever tasted and would recommend anyone to try it.

But my grandmother only ever bought best beef and had a manual mincer to mince it herself as she didn't trust the butcher on Lavender Hill. My whole post was really a bit flippant, but sometimes it gets missed. As you can see after your response....

I helped coach pescatarian they had really bad gut health and was very strict with limiting the likes of fish.
Wrong regarding highlighted section The science shows animal sourced protein is the most bio available not sure how you came to that conclusion. Clean not so they are full of anti nutrients and high in oxalates meat has neither of these. Edited by grumpymort (22 May 2021 10.22pm)
