We had better re educate everyone in the media then. There can't be a more race obsessed lot. Meanwhile. Hundreds of people have been smashing stuff up and causing violent disorder all through the lockdown. I hope they will all be losing their jobs and getting locked up too. One would not like to think that White men with learning difficulties and Hitler fixations were being discriminated against. I mean, we have to accept everyone these days no matter how bonkers, don't we? Edited by Hrolf The Ganger (02 Apr 2021 6.56pm) Highlighting that this man was a race obsessive whose membership to a terrorist organisation actively encouraging and planning violence (assassination, bomb making etc) didn't do him any favours is not a controversial view. I had the same view of the IS schoolgirl, and was more than happy to wave her goodbye. She was a child and not the brightest, but as with this, some choices stick. This bloke was a child pronographer in possession of violent terrorism manuals. There was no option but to take action once this was discovered. Yes people smashing stuff up and engaging in violence disorder should be imprisoned too where they are identified. That has little to do with this case though. If we try to shift the focus due to his race it's no better than those who do the same with other races or religions - and we can see where that gets us. As for autism, my hope would be that his perhaps heightened interests had found a home somewhere other than in racist ideology. For all I know he came from a great family, but as a wider point (because this isn't the first time we've seen this play out) it's important for parents and guardians to have an awareness of how their views are likely to be received. There's certain outlooks you don't want them to 'pick up and run with'.

So exposure in any way could prevent them being stopped. Alternatively the top people want to balance the scale artificially so we don't just avoid muslims with rucksacks on the tube. We avoid 6ft white boys as well. Metaphorically BTW. Edited by cryrst (03 Apr 2021 5.11am)

This guy lied on his application form. He can not remain in his job. And National Action are an organisation that makes no qualms about its desire for violence. There are few arguments against it being proscribed. But if this guy is autistic, which I have no reason to disbelieve, then again that must be a reason why the vetting process for the Met should be questioned. This lads life is over. Probably need to spend his entire time in solitary and when he gets out, unemployable. Totally agree with all this

Undesirable types are attracted to employers much as the forces, the police etc. the home office. It is unfortunate and we should seek to root them out, rather than make excuses for them. It does seem that they often empowered by government, which uses them to enforce without enough accountability. In the last week we have seen women dragged off at a vigil, a psycho met cop end the life of a young woman, shields used as weapons against innocent protestors, allegations of rape and now the nazi cop! Not exactly 'Dixon of Dock Green' is it?
I don’t suppose you can back up your statement regarding undesirables being attracted to the Home Office, with evidence, can you? Or even just explain it Edited by Spiderman (03 Apr 2021 8.47am)

To come out with a statement like ive highlighted is a huge slap in the face for our countrys great armed forces, one of which i was very proud to serve in. There were also many thousands of people who weren’t “attracted” to the forces but went anyway and we should be eternally grateful to them.

They are looking for mental health reasons and the attack is not terrorism. Literally straight from the government's mouth. Just codswallop.

Not Islamic terrorism. he's a follower of The Nation of Islam which is not recognised by Islam. This guy is more likely a BLM extremist the leader of NOI Louis Farrakhan has form in this area.
