I would rather we were competitive in the championship than being under-funded in the premier league and becoming the whipping boys.

I’m sorry mate but it’s my money I am spending & I want to my team play football, I don’t expect to win every game but we have had some really enjoyable times as Palace fans & currently this is not one of them I don’t want to watch this crap anymore. Just cause we want to see us play more entertaining football & for us to play to our players strengths & give our attacking players a bit more freedom allowing them to create more chances does not mean relegation or that we are wrong. I don’t think it is us that needs to grow up. If you stand still you become stagnant & the inevitable will happen anyway sometimes you have to be brave.

Well you are in a small minority. People like you surprise me in life why should anyone settle for second best. Anything is achievable if you work hard enough, have an identity & a vision something Palace clearly does not have. I agree we can’t afford to go down but why are so confident that a change of manager will see us relegated? We could get a new manager & finish in the top 10. The problem is no one knows unless we try. We all take the piss out of Brighton but at least they play football the right way, have an identity & try to win games. Yes they are currently below us but they are good to watch & if we stay as we are would bet you they finish above us next season cause they have a vision & a plan. I worked for an employer all my life & could have stayed doing this cause it was a safe option wages guaranteed etc but 10 years ago I decided to start my own Business & touch wood have never looked back best thing I ever did. My point is sometimes in life you have make tough decisions be brave. As a club we need to have an identity & a vision & unfortunately due to Roy’s age he is not part off that.

Thats it in a nutshell !! I've been supporting palace for all 55 years and if I recall my best memories not many cone to mind in premiership. We have been playing catchup and still are .Lack of investment in ground and players has hurt us.We have been in premiership for years now and still feels we haven't progressed on or off the pitch .Is it worth all worth it ?

It’s not about being mature, if you knew me you would know I am this is about me wanting more & not excepting 2nd best. You say we have only had good times in 2nd tier well I disagree I personally enjoyed the first season under Pardew & enjoyed the ones under Pulis & Big Sam at least we always looked dangerous on the break. Under Roy we don’t even look like scoring.

Evening, As no one had the decency to respond to my below email, I would like to reiterate how disappointed & dissolution i am at being a Crystal Palace fan. We seem to be going nowhere, the football is so negative & boring & we are becoming stagnant. We today just got beat by a team below us in the league & had only scored 5 away goals all season till today. It pains me to say it but I am embarrassed to call myself a Palace fan even Brighton have an identity & vision of where they want to go & how they want to play. We can’t achieve any of this all the time we have Roy at the helm. Yes Roy is a lovely man but unfortunately that does not bring results. We need a change now. I want you to know that myself, Son & Father will not be renewing our season tickets next season unless we have a change of direction. I want to make it clear I don’t expect to win every week, I don’t expect you spend millions. All I want is to see a Palace team that has character, grit, passion & at least try to win & play attacking football creating chances. Big Sam & Pulis achieved this in fact Pulis probably had the weakest team out of all our other Managers yet achieved the best return. Please for sake of Palace & your fan base please say thank you to Roy but now is time for a change & new direction. Kind Regards

Agree 100% dazza. So, you seriously feel Mr Hodgson's job is/was to make our squad play like Arsenal?
