At the risk of being a bore and repeating myself, can you find a word other than "left". Do you honestly think a dyed in the wool Marxist lifelong union type (ie actual left) has any association with any of this inclusivity/woke/gender identity etc. BS?

How about MCME?

(Middle Class Metropolitan Elite. The last word is ironic)

I would suggest that this is a result of anyone refusing to call their auntie their uncle, or disagreeing with a whole load of nonsense ironically labelled as progressive or woke, being accused of being ‘far right’ and a Nazi as opposed to consideration of where such opinions sit on the political spectrum.

Half wit ‘progressives’ and main stream media (not mutually exclusive) have decided you sit on one side or the other. This ones on the left.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Far more worrying was this about the Guardian: "No 10's options were limited, however, because the newspaper has not signed up to the Independent Press Standards Organisation, which regulates newspapers and sanctions them for inaccuracies."

This is the newspaper of choice for the BBC. It has a well reported high subscription of hard copy.

If true, are the BBC reporting unregulated newspaper copy and passing it off as fact to the gullible viewers/listeners?

It is of course a fair point, there is always a spectrum that exists within any group and labels can be very general.

Every group has sub groups and many people sit on different places on the spectrums within them.

If I were to describe a description of the left that could be entirely accurate for all its sub groups it would be people who believe in equality and egalitarianism: If I'm wrong it's an honest mistake.

It doesn't mean that all within the left always agree with how it's current leaders interpret equality and egalitarianism.

I hear you.

Not sure tories/right leaning do mate, obviously some do,but in general they seem to be a bit more out for themselves, not all i hasten to add! As for blair, he was as much a tory as boris is, probably more so,but in general i would say the CONS are at it more than the labour mps, just look at the ppe cronyism going on now.
