If the 1.8m figure is to be believed, surely it's worth a punt?

Not sure if it's TRUE but I saw stories earlier saying he was more interested in a move abroad.

According to my Birmingham supporting friend he blew hot and cold. On his day he was devastating but "his day" didn't come often enough and for many games he was just a passenger which is why he wasn't too concerned when Birmingham sold him to Leicester and it seems that nothing much has changed in the intervening years In fairness he was 19 when he left Birmingham. I think he would be a good addition to our squad.

On a free he could command £100 -£120k a week like Meyer. Pay the transfer fee and pay a more reasonable wage. Ramsey went from 110 to 400k a week. He is now untransferable. I believe Gray is on £55k a week at Leicester. I think it would be a good buy.

I have no reason to say it, but there seems something fishy about Gray. He was an excellent player a year or two ago - England knocking at the door. What happened?

Interesting that he is not in the Leicester side in the cup against Brentford or even on the bench. He may well be on the move?

It's been said before but I would want answers as to why he's unwanted at Leicester before committing to the deal.

Because Leicester are a champions league/Europa team who have their eyes on the premier league title. We are probably more his level and he would get lots more game time with us. Shlupp is a prime example of a player who was no where near Leicester’s first team but a key player for us. They have 4-5 creative players ahead of him.

He is 24yo fits our profile & for £1.8m is an absolute snip. This is a no brained. Disappointed to Tekkers go if this is true as still think he has something to offer & am confident big Sam will get the best out of if he was to go. Personally I would let Ayew or Batshuayi go before him.

I think people seem to be forgetting that Leicester City won the Premiership only a few seasons ago, are certainly a top 6 six side and looking to establish themselves as a permanent top 4 side, which is looking likely.
Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!! |
