Many years ago [ in my youth ] we used to go there , and tried to notice which drinks were not on show [ orange juice etc ] and ask for them . The publican would go to the cellar to get it , when he did we all helped ourselves to what ever drinks . It was always best if you knew someone in there .

Bloke in my school came over half way through and his surname was Chang, i kid you not, his first name was Eric! That was actual name, not kids version!
