No more 'Sunday Supplement', no more 'Goals on Sunday'.

I was also irked when the 'Boot Room' was discontinued a few years ago.

All this incessant apologising for fruity language has also got on my darned wick but this might be SKY having to adhere to broadcasting rules.

Or certain groups demands!

I have concluded to whom you are referring.

According to this report major shake-up of football is panned with surprise surprise the big clubs holding all the major cards.

I can't believe this will get voted through.

Badger, you, i & countless thousands of other footie fans know it very well may do. Now, what happens IF, the likes of Looserpool & Manure get relegated, will the EPL/FA change the rules again, OR wouldnt that be allowed to happen?

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

I think a lot of this reported restructure will go through in some way shape or form - I think this because if the big clubs dont get more power in this existing set up they will continue to want to move further towards some form of elite European club champions super league + secondly the timing of it is clearly aligned with the financial plight of any club not blessed with being able to rely mostly on TV money so these lower league clubs are going to have to vote in favour / agree to it because they cant afford not to.

One cannot envisage the PL 'Turkeys' voting for Christmas.

Hi Willo - (obviously this news has just hit the internet & were speculating on possible outcomes) for what its worth my thoughts are that given these unusual circumstances I think the turkeys are going to find themselves with a vote - Christmas or Thanksgiving -
Its going to be a really difficult choice but eventually I see them ( less powerful clubs) choosing money now rather than fighting against it and possibly not receiving money later (or too late to save a number of clubs from going under)

What worries me is this 9 protected clubs decide the PL and only 6 need to be in favour. Gosh I wonder which 6 clubs get to decide the fate of the rest I can't imagine, what a joke.

If the big six want absolute power then they can go and play with themselves literally and metaphorically.

I garland your comments with praise.

A look of instant gaseous nausia fell on my face on perusing the proposals.

Really why don't they kick the top 6 mega rich upstairs where they can play with each other and spend ad infinitum?

We could then have a genuine competition with a chance of success based on merit not extreme capitalism.

Who needs them anyway what is sporting about it?
