Gareth Bale... the money says he is up there with ...Messi, ronaldo, De Bruyne, Eden Hazard, Aguero... and the statistics say he is a decent Prem player...and little more.

Oh for sure, scored two screamers in that onr match for Juve and the spotlights went on, that's his career in a nutshell. As for all the mentions of Pickford I'd have to disagree - not because I think he's good, but because a lot of people know how poor he can be. He was hyped up some years ago when he was coming into the professional game but now he doesn't get that hype, soon to be replaced.

What statistics suggest he is only decent? 102 goals and 65 assists in 231 games for Madrid. 13 trophies, with Bale scoring numerous big goals in finals. At Madrid he has; more goals than R9, more assists than Beckham, more games than Figo, more trophies than Zidane. Hazard scored 1 goal in his debut season for Madrid.
