Separate stories but important to know about.

Whilst I wholeheartedly agree with the sentiment, I guess an argument could be made that providing any deformed chicken is fine to eat, then it should be as it would only be killed otherwise, thus reducing more chickens bring bred and killed

I guess that's a bit like when I used to buy Cadbury's Mis-shapes from Bewise. Tasted the same.

Fried chicken and gritts and gravy are the way forward. Although Brains Faggots do not travel well to the US. No idea why.

& Haggis is still banned here as well (Sheeps Stomach)
Chicken feet are very popular here with the Latinos not that I have tried them. Plus with the Americans being so litigous If the chicken sold was as dangerous as the OP makes out there would be a raft of Law suits flying about (asides from the usual Animal Right nut jobs)

Both of the butchers in our village make faggots to die for...... served with mash and cabbage in thick
gravy

(and bought by locals of all ages......)

Chlorine is a mega-poison. But did you know that the water that comes out of your taps has been chlorinated ? Chlorine is used to sanitise the water in the cleaning process, but is removed before it goes into the supply chain.

The main concern with chlorinated chicken (from the USA) is that it has the potential to be a 'catch-all' at the final phase of distribution, where animal welfare could be given a lower priority.

Steroids in cow feed in the USA to increase productivity is a different issue, but just as important. Just google what happened with DDT when the world launched an anti-malaria solution.

I would imagine that you probably ingest more chlorine from a swim in an average swimming pool than you would from one treated chicken

I've regularly shopped at Aldi and Lidl in the past. The promise of diseased chickens and meat is a step up.
