What struck me was his attitude, I have a contract with watford and unless they wish to sell me I will honour it. This may be unfair but I contrasted this with Zaha's behaviour and press coverage

If Liverpool really want him, he would have to have little or no ambition to turn them down. They are the reigning European, champs . He has every reason to want the opportunity to test him self at the very highest level no matter what public opinion might say. I don’t trust the rumour of our interest , being more than just that. But if we were competing with Liverpool, No chance.

Sadly,just a pipe dream that he would even consider us,given possible Liverpool interest. Playing for Klopp, with all his positively rather than for a more negative style,must be more attractive. Doubt in any event,SP would be prepared to spend here.

Our only selling points are London and playing time and they are not enough.

Liverpool have offloaded Adam L to Brighton and are likely to release Shaqiri. They will be in the market to strengthen and Sarr would tick the boxes with his pace on their rapid counterattacks. It's a shame as we have been crying out for some genuine pace on our right side for a while and it would have helped to provide balance to the left where we have PVA and Zaha (assuming he stays).

i totally concur with your comments Patrick - i don't think Townsend offered much this season and i actually think Ayew is better down the middle as he can finish.

I imagine London is only every an attraction if you live there already and know how to put up with it or if you've been driven everywhere by a chauffeur in extremely heavily tinted windows. Every time I travel to SP I know I am getting closer when the smell of pee gets stronger. Sarr to Palace? He would be lucky to upgrade to Palace and we would be delighted to have him. He is the best player we have been linked to in a while including those we've got already. He would be even luckier to upgrade to Liverpool, but his quality deserve it. So I manage a Workshop which provides a safe learning environment for blokes struggling with PTSD and other mental health issues. Being a Palace fan isn't listed yet.

You're right, they're not enough. I imagine London is only every an attraction if you live there already and know how to put up with it or if you've been driven everywhere by a chauffeur in extremely heavily tinted windows.
