Since the Pozzo family took over in 2012, they have appointed 10 permanent managers, including Sanchez Flores twice, and only 2 have been British.

Thing is, of the last 8 thugford managers, he is the only ENGLISH manager & has a far better win ratio 35%
Willo?

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

He probably started on a player or one of the directors. Just guessing, but he seems slightly volatile.

He is the only English manager appointed by the Pozzo family since they took control of the club in 2012.
Zola, Jokanovic etc had better win averages but Pearson took over when the club were rock-bottom after 16 PL games.

He has that slightly psychotic look to him, very similar to Roy Keane. Both look like they could explode at any second.

There are suggestions of a bust up after the West Ham game but who knows.

No official word yet.

Perhaps they will poach Roy as their next manager.

This is the third manager Watford have sacked this season, the others being Garcia and Sanchez Flores.
Perhaps Hayden Mullins will be in caretaker charge for the last 2 matches, home to Man City and away to Arsenal.

Laughable really, especially considering he's given them a fighting chance. It's not the manager that's the problem.

Nice one. I wouldn't mind a few winning bets at those odds

I think he's done an incredible job to (probably) keep them up, they were finished when he joined.

With it being Watford, I can't say I'm surprised, but I'm disappointed for the merry go round that he's gone. The new appointment will be interesting - I think they'll do well to find a manager to stabilise them better than Pearson.

I assume they've just decided that if Pearson can keep them up from a no hope position, then appointing Ranieri now means Watford win the league next year?

Believe Pearson has acquired more points since restart than Roy and yet he gets sacked.
Possibly time for Roy to be ' pensioned' off if we put in another miserable performance away to Wolves.
Sean Dyche anyone??

Possibly, but why would Burnley let him go. My money would be on Eddie Howe.

Let's wait until relegation places confirmed so we can make our shortlist of three.

Definitely something gone on in recent days.

Pearson was talking about staying on last week.

And the official statement basically says "He's left "

With no thanks of acknowledgement of the job he had done.

Quite a few rumours going around as you might expect.

If they just didn't want to keep him might as well waited a week when Pearson was out of contract.
