Not in any way. Unless the one hearing it seeks to divide.

That is an erroneous and quite absurd statement.

So BLACK lives matter is not divisive?

What are you smoking down there in sunny Cornwall?

Yes, indeed!

History happened whether we like it or not. We should be educating not trying to expunge history. The slave trade was abhorrent but was an acceptable practice way back when. Surely by exposing it and teaching it in schools we could ensure it never happens again and modern day slavery should also be highlighted

Slave trade ? Imagine black slavers arriving in ships and stealing white slaves.

Baltimore co cork 1613 , Barbary pirates.

World history has slaves of all colours and creeds.

The Romans will have enslaved many a Briton.

Black Lives Matter is not divisive, unless as pointed out earlier, you want to mis-read the intent.

I don’t think anyone has mis read anything, I don’t think the actions match the intent. BLM have told people they are a peacefully protesting group which couldn’t be further from the truth. They are also totally intolerant to anyone that doesn’t share their angst. Do you honestly think the average man on the street wants to be branded a racist because he doesn’t actively support the cause of BLM? A lot of people find it offensive and this is why what they are doing is going about a just cause but in an unjust way.

I don't need to read the intent. The name itself is divisive.
Anything with White in the title would be deemed far right wing.

We cannot have double standards in an equal society. It is a contradiction.

She also followed eugenics. You know, filter out the weaker stock from the general population.

This is not something I would do. As I have posted elsewhere I think it's the wrong message which perpetuates a problem rather than solving it. "All lives matter" would be better, although I suspect some in the anti-abortion movement would then try to hi-jack the intent.

That said I don't believe the PL is actually associating themselves politically with the BLM organisation.

They are associating themselves with the words and their meaning.

how do you come to this bizarre conclusion? Black lives matter IS the BLM slogan, their raison d'etre!! Therefore the PL is associating themselves with the BLM organisation!
Or are you just being your usual 'speak against what anyone else thinks' self.... Surely ALL lives matter, NOT just black ones....would an organisation calling itself WHITE LIVES MATTER even be allowed in these snowflake days??

That’s cartoon misses the bit where they soaked their house in petrol and lit a match first, and then started telling their neighbours it was their fault the house was on fire and started smashing the neighbours house up.
