I have an interesting dilemma. I'm one of those annoying people who has a caravan! Obviously, a diesel is best for towing so I have a 1.8D Volvo XC60. With the cut off date only 6 years away for new petrol/hybrid cars I have a feeling that second hand prices will be a lot higher than they have been. I will be looking at a Toyota RAV4 AWD as these are capable of towing my van. But when do I bite the bullet? Do I jump before the next election or wait and see if labour, as most of us suspect they will, p!ss everyone off and get stuffed at the ballot box allowing another 5 years grace. I'm leaning towards waiting as I may be too old to go caravanning around that time anyway. Or I may even have snuffed it by then!

I have just bought this new Ford Puma and it is electric. The acceleration is rocket-like and the handling is fantastic. Attachment: electric car.jpg (78.93Kb)
I disengage, I turn the page. |
