Yeah I heard they kicked up a fuss when they realised that he hadn’t been wearing the minimum shoe size of 22 for a first team player there. Since they started insisting on regulation team boots, he returned at the kit including the big top. Originally posted by Badger11
I posted on another thread that he has refused to play for Charlton and so is running down his contract. The Charlton fans rate him but assumed he was going to another Championship club as he is 30 this will be his last big move. As long as he does not want too much money I think this could be a shrewd move he will only be a backup striker well we don't have many of them at the moment.

He has a very interesting way of taking a penalty.

To be avoided at all costs in my opinion. I thought the idea was that we were supposed to be bringing the average age of the squad down.

Comparisons with Murray stop at the fact they are both 30 when getting a chance at the top flight. Murray was, and is, a totally dedicated pro on and off the field Taylor is ignoring his obligations to the team he signed a contract with and has taken a chance on him......but says it’s okay as he doesn’t want to damage a future move just in case he gets injured. I know loyalty in football is generally absent other than in some rare examples (which is why we adore the likes of Speroni) but the minimum I expect from a Palace signing is commitment ant dedication for the duration of his contract.

Apparently he has had a change of mind and is training with the team will still leave at the end of June but will play the lost three games or so the Charlton fans believe. Fact. Based on the last couple of windows we will do very little business unless we unload some high earners. Wild, Sakho and Benteke. Could see PVA go as well as Guita if the press are correct regarding him being homesick. So then we might see the likes of Taylor and others at the park....

I have seen no evidence to suggest Guiata is homesick. Indeed, my son follows him on social media and he is always saying how happy he and his family are in England. Now transferring to another English club could be an issue but imo he is going nowhere
