I'm happy for them to continue as it's such a personal decision at the end of the day, surely no one could complain the Club was dragging money out of poor people? I mean, I buy the shirt every year but pre-Covid at the start of this season, I decided to stick with last season's as I just had other things I wanted the money for in August and never got around to bothering. It hasn't affected the match-day experience and no one points and laughs at me...not for my choice of shirt anyway A lot of fans will be in no position to purchase a £55 shirt and that's fine. Just don't. The club will be reeling though from the season ticket refunds and I'm assuming the first portion of next season will be behind closed doors so season tickets will have to be sold at a pro-rata basis when doors open? So I think the Club will be doing everything it can to get a little bit of money back, including Shirt sales. I've done the same on occasion. I used to feel obliged to buy the new kit, but am a bit more cost conscious now, and don't think allegiance is tied up in shelling out for the latest kit anyway. Weirdly I used to feel differently.

totally missed this, what am I getting at? I feel a shirt can be made, from alternative, standard material and look the same and cost way less. for instance, the fake shirts that sell for pittance abroad... I'm not saying the conditions or labour should be the same, but I doubt it's made from the same high quality material... there must be some middle ground where puma can replicate the match day shirt in a much cheaper, cost effective method, and then if they want too, also produce a player version for the higher costs.. I only say this as generally if I am not careful I snag my 50 quid shirt so I end up treating them like woven gold... a cheaper one, not so much. reading back your post, I think you just don't understand what I am saying and assuming I don't either... which is fine.
this replica don't cost much to make at all anyway as I stated they sell for high price because everybody wants a big profit which a bunch of fans keep paying if no one pays these prices they would be forced to lower them. I have a knock off which cost £15 it was better quality then original their may be some which are not up to standard but most of the time the material wise are same its just the sticking or printing quality that may not last as long. If you want the same shirt the players wear you are out of luck these are not sold they are designed for the players so they need to be better product they should last them all season put up with being pulled on etc these are high quality (if they did sell them they would easily be over £100)

Much as I like seeing us playing in the red and blue sash on white, our home strip has been red and blue stripes for decades now (apart from a couple of awful jobs, half and half one and massive red stripe down the middle one. I think it would be a mistake to change it again.

No kit will look good as long as ManBetX logo remains. Surely it's the ugliest in world football.
