You never went to Heat Clark or the youth club in Oval Road I take it.

Did everyone carry a knife, have access to a machete or have turf wars with them or baseball bats in busy shopping areas?

Did the people born there feel it wasn’t their area and we’re told so?

Generally, the best thing to do when you get to Croydon is to urgently find the quickest way out of it.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

You get the impression that Maple is the Hol's Rory Stewart.

Here he is meeting some Irishmen in London.

Cringe on steroids.

I stayed in the Premier Inn, Croydon, last match I went to. Brought a mate. We went to the two Wetherspoons, The Ship and The Eagle and a couple of other pubs I can't remember, and drank for two days solid, only alleviated by a football match in between.
We sang Palace songs at the top of our voices all the way home - never saw any police and also had no trouble. I think the locals thought we were very entertaining.
The pubs weren't great but they were cheap. Wetherpoons Greene King 1.69 a pint - hilarious.
Of course, my mate puked all over the hotel room but that's a different story.

OK, you disappeared off the radar at just after midnight in a strange town and you come from a small country that is very different.

Now I am just a tiny bit worried about you.

Will you let us know what excitement you had last night and where you watched the match?

Why are you worried? He was only in Croydon, not Harlem NY!
