Booty-Judge announces that he's pulling out.... While all the positions of the main Democrats (excepting Bloomberg, who I think is lying about it) are so far left nowadays that I can't seriously think of them as presidents....it has to be said that of those that had been in the debates Booty-Judge looked the most presidential. Good brain on him. Looking more and more like Sanders v Bloomberg.

Donald Trump is Now the Youngest Man in the Presidential Race. Only in America.

Audience member: 'You travel with armed security but don't want me to have a gun. Do you think your life matters more than mine?' Bloomberg: 'Yes. There are a lot of threats on my life.' I'm kinda warming to mini Mike. Super Tuesday is going to be fascinating.

The Progressive types are losing their minds and you just know they want to scream about it being a fix given that Sanders did not do as well as they had assumed he would. I must admit I struggle to comprehend why anybody thinks Biden is a good idea for anything. Am I missing something obvious? Yes, he was Obama's VP but other than that? What is there? And not a loaded question either but rather an absolute puzzlement as to why he is even in consideration, let alone winning.

Elizabeth Warren has impressed me from what I've seen of her.

An interesting if highly unlikely scenario mooted by James Woods is that Biden gets the nomination gets Hilary to be his running mate, wins the Presidency & after a few months feigns illness & hands over the reigns to Clinton.

Trump might be many, many things but that man does have a certain elan/charisma about him. I appreciate all the focus in on the Democrats in terms of these primaries but Trump is polling some incredible numbers allied with sold-out rallies. And in US politics those matter. Would they even want to put Biden up against him on that basis alone? Trump is an outlier. A complete outsider. Remember 4 years ago when we were all being told he would not be the Republican Candidate? And then written off for the Presidency? He did that based on his appeal to people who simply loathe the political establishment. So to beat him I believe you need a similar candidate from the other side. Biden is actually a worse candidate than Hillary. That is the madness as far as I can see. Yet Biden is clearly winning and picking up delegates. It utterly escapes me how.

Trust the USA to make democracy look like a great choice. The biggest threat to democracy are the democracies themselves.
