Yes, he was, so probably liked to cut back in. Utd used him on the right and primarily as a right back.

I’m pretty sure I’m not alone about not being bothered about this... He may well be a very nice bloke but as a player I’ve always found him an odious little prick.

And if a Man United manager has a pop at you for bending the law it must be pretty serious.
He’s also going to be losing pace now and without that he’s really nothing special.
