The most I can say is that the BBC isn't 'pro Corbyn'.

It's generally neo liberal left, which is too right wing for Corbyn but more distance from anyone who'd call themselves a Tory.

And a light year from a social conservative like me.

I'm not sure I'd call that balance exactly.

Things have changed. Journalists used to be known as reporters. They reported actual events.
Now it's all opinion pieces and point scoring depending on their agenda.
This applies to sport, politics or general news.

When Tories are scared of Labour they always turn to denigrating the leader as a “commie” or a “Marxist”. Churchill did it to Attlee in 1945. Kinnock and Miliband suffered the same s*** – the latter pilloried for how poorly he ate a bacon sandwich which, if Corbyn demanded that of a Jewish person now, would cause some headlines.

What Attlee wanted to give to working people - many returning from the war – and what in the eyes of the Tories and Churchill was being a `commie’ was:
• Improve workers’ rights e.g. extending rights of sick leave, ending the casual system of hiring labour in the docks (similar to the gig economy increased under the Tories today)
• A National Health Service (NHS)
• BCG vaccinations for the protection of medical students, midwives, nurses, and contacts of patients with tuberculosis,
• increased government spending on health from £6,000,000,000 to £11,000,000,000: an increase of over 80%, and from 2.1% to 3.6% of GDP
• Expanded the National Insurance (NI) against illness and unemployment, and eventually provided retirement pensions and other benefits
• The New Towns Act of 1946 set up development corporations to construct modern new towns
• A large house-building programme with subsidized rents

This list is important you think about how the billionaires press owners and their well-to-do editors offer as champion of the People Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson and his Brexit deal that removes workers’ rights from his deal.

When you - a Tory - say that Corbyn is a Marxist. What you mean is he will make the lives of ordinary better. You can’t attack the policies because people will like them when they see them – so lie about the guy and make him toxic; simples.

Amusing whataboutery....complains about misrepresentation and then calls me a Tory.....I've voted Tory and for other parties.

I have plenty of issues with the mainstream Tory party....I reject most of their social policy agenda as leftist intersectional crap.

As for Corbyn and Marx:

To quote Corbyn with Andrew Marr in 2015:

'He was a fascinating figure who observed a great deal and from whom we can learn a great deal'.

'Marx analysed what was happening in a quite brilliant way. The philosophy around Marx is absolutely fascinating'.

Again on the Andrew Marr show he said, 'I believe there's a lot to learn from reading Kapital, yes, of course there is - and that's been recommended not just by me but many others, mainstream economists as well.'

Corbyn then goes onto 'employ' McDonald, a self confessed Marxist.....who even waved the 'little red book' in parliament.

And you have the cheek to come on here and talk about dishonesty.

The politics that resulted from Marx has resulted in the biggest pile of human bones in history and those that it didn't murder it dragged into even worst poverty and starvation.
