Really? Every time I turn on the TV she seems to be on it with her overly fake smile and pretending to be the nicest human on the planet. I even went to the gym once in Bromley - a proper el cheapo gym - and she was in there shooting a fitness video. I can't escape it!

I've now Googled her and found the following on Wikipedia:-

Victoria Pattison (born 16 November 1987) is an English television and media personality. She is best known for appearing in the MTV shows Geordie Shore from 2011 until 2014, Ex on the Beach in 2014 and 2015 and her own show Judge Geordie in 2015.

Pattison won the fifteenth series of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! (UK) in December 2015 and became a permanent member on the panel of the ITV daytime chat show Loose Women in January 2016. She was also a team captain on the Channel 5 panel show It's Not Me, It's You and co-presented I'm a Celebrity: Extra Camp in 2016.

It appears that she is well known for seven shows none of which I have ever watched which is probably why I've never heard of her

Don’t watch itv channels is the answer. Ever. There really is no need to, apart from rugby World Cup etc.

What does a chartered accountant find funny - a tick in the wrong box or a mix up between debits and credits perhaps?

Know your audience is the phrase that springs to mind.
Jimmy Carr once said nothing should be off limits for comedy.
Then spoilt it by saying except hillsborough.
Having worked in the emergency services, i can assure you if i repeated some of it on here people would be apoplectic.
Armed forces the same. The darkest humour .

As Shakespeare wrote, 'nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so.'.

When someone is faced with extreme situations they need methods of processing it and continuing, otherwise they are going to burn out and quit.

Which isn't going to help on the battlefield or at a car crash.

So dark humour just makes sense to me as one of the ways of desensitizing yourself while still coping....people need release valves.

Obviously not everyone has to cope with picking up body parts or dead people at football grounds so some aren't going to appreciate a joke about it and that makes sense as well.

Most people know what they are in for if they turn up to a Jimmy Carr or Boyle show so it's quite amazing when you get complaints....Same as TV, if you don't like them don't watch.

So yeah, we all hear things we don't like from time to time but we have to cut each other some slack......It becomes a very different society otherwise.....Well, we are seeing that happen already.

So even if you tried to escape, the bimbo could catch you up.
