In America, if you go to a baseball game, you can order what you want food and drink wise on your phone at any point in the game. Then you will get a notification when your order is ready and you go up and collect it from an interactive locker having paid for everything on your phone. The reception at Selhurst is rubbish so ordering on the app would be an issue, but if anyone at the club happens to read this...I can sell you the solution for the app and lockers. I can also sort out your wifi Went to a Padres games in San Diego. The toing & froing of food & drink vendors (plus punters get up to get their own) absolutely drove us nuts. I know our cousins like to feed their faces but for crissakes.....

My word,.. You want food and drink at half time, you start listing your posh craft Alex, next you will be wanting to actually be entertained as well. Well let me tell you back in my day we couldn't afford to have opinions. You stood on the terraces only leaving your space to take a leak at the back in an open trough, if you were lucky you got a gristle pie heated to volcanic temperature so as you could use it as a hand warmer 1st half or a cup of beef tea. Or warm lager that tasted like it had come from said open trough at the back of the stand. And they still served up unexciting football. These young 'uns don't know there born...

I emailed them about this 2 years ago and got a very unhelpful reply.

Palace are now a London living wage employer which is great but it also means that we could probably get better catering staff. I haven’t been in in 6 months since I have been abroad but the staff I have seen at every game have been so useless.

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |
