Tell me about the recruitment problems Stirling. As far as I am concerned these cases relate to Governance. Have you seen the Shirley Oaks compensation? I unashamedly repeat that Robinson is in no way a campaigner about child abuse and his approach to the topic perverts the discussion badly. And I did not say not concerned I said not engaged unless it furthers a specific tightly held view.
Those tasked with looking into it will have their recommendations, however as a lay opinion I'd say these issues are about pay, and the standard of the people hired....there has always been a filtering issue with the type of person attracted to those jobs....most people are great but we all know what I mean. To talk about Robinson again on this case is once again introducing a different argument. Once again, I'll tell you that Robinson has of course condemned all child abuse....You aren't interested. Robinson is anti Islamic, the rape gangs are one of the areas he has campaigned upon not the only one.....it says something that you seem to think that's all he does.....You are happy for fake narratives to be pushed as we saw recently. To say that he should be just doing all child abuse is as ridiculous as saying why aren't the people who focused their inquiry into these Islamic gang rapes doing all child abuse? Obvious answer: because Islamic rapes gangs is a specific problem with its own dynamics.....just like the abuse at these children centres is..... Robinson is focused upon Islam Stop conflating problems. Edited by Stirlingsays (01 Aug 2019 12.28am)

Edited by Stirlingsays (01 Aug 2019 12.28am) What a strange take on this You think the abusers were just bad recruits as it’s hard to recruit well? Blimey How about they self selected. They were people wanting access to vulnerable children. Nobody checked their activities. Nobody got close enough to understand what was going on. They each knew a bit about the others and all kept quiet so they could carry on. Some people in authority knew and used the situation to their advantage. Others were blackmailed into allowing this to continue. This wasn’t an accident FFS. It was a repeating pattern across the UK. I thought you said it was well debated on this forum. And of course Yaxley has condemned all child abuse. That doesn’t mean it’s an area where he will do anything. Only if it furthers hatred of Muslims and gets him lucrative exposure. Oh, and how long should it take to process the information? After over 50 years we still have minimal justice. If people truly cared I am sure this could have gone a tad faster. Looking at your post you posted this up just a few hours after it appeared and then suggest that Hrolf isn't 'engaged'. I think you should pull your horns in. How long should it take to process? Why ask me that? As long as it takes...if this has been the case over decades then I want to know what has happened and why. Once again, people have posted about child abuse on this forum since I turned up in 2009. You are just out of order suggesting people have a lack of care. People post about what is in the news and that's happening here.....You decided to make this particular story about Robinson which is a conflation and misdirects from this particular case.

I have always said that the activities of Robinson detracts from a proper discussion about the broader issue. It is not a Muslim problem it is rooted throughout society.

You make claims that I have little doubt have some validity but the whole picture would be far more nuanced. I don't personally believe that child abusers can completely take over a facility and just select other child abusers to the exclusion of others...I'm sure it happened that abusers teamed up.....but exclusivity seems far fetched to me....as is the idea that nobody checks.....complaints were filed since the sixties, so obviously there was checking. We have to see what went wrong.

We can debate this once you have had the chance to read about it Here's a start: The inquiry found in one home inspected in the early 1990s "all children resident over a 12-month period were found to have been exposed to harmful sexual behaviour". From the late 1970s to this year, 16 residential staff and 10 foster carers were convicted of sexual abuse of children in their care. So we must take it as read before it sees a court with real judges and the like because an inquiry says it happened.

The point being is every community has wrong'uns but an imported community that makes up 7% of the population IN CURRENT TIMES but makes up the majority of child grooming gangs is wrong.

Any Tommy Robinson discussion is littered with people suggesting that if you don’t agree with TR you must be in support of the grooming gangs, or at least lack sympathy with the victims.

Do some research then read my post again. There is no sign that people looked to bring in like minded mates. But once in such people enjoyed the environment (God help us) and apparently knew others were also abusers. So the worst tended to stay and would turn a blind eye to the others. But some utilised that knowledge to get more power. Any complaints were brushed under the carpet and almost nothing has been done in 50 years. I am shocked at your blasé approach to this. It is a massive scandal yet has never been fully addressed Why has it not received the attention and more to the point actual justice that seems to have been focused on the grooming gangs? 50 years for goodness sake, and you say we have to wait to see. This is why I get angry.
