There will always be bad taste remarks and jokes.

I was shocked by the building going up and whoever sent it up is a brick.....but some people just don't care, or want to be an arse in private...or they are autistic over empathy or whatever excuse it is.

Anyway, as long as you aren't forced to listen or read it....it's what facepalms are meant for.....not prisons.

ever heard of the General Belgrano ?

Well certainly. They 'should' be free to joke about what they will, just as people should be free to draw their own conclusions about what they make of that. Recording it didn't help. If you're going to mock people burning to death it helps if you're not potentially broadcasting it to millions of people. It's not a great introduction.

do tv journalists love a good 'live disaster' to broadcast to all their hungry viewers ?

but somehow i doubt the BBC will be offering a pundit job to that lady in the burka

That was a stark example. I have two thoughts.

1 - Under no circumstance should he go to jail

2 - It's really, really s***ty to laugh at and mock people who burned to death in a fire.

So, I think due to 2, whatever penalty he paid should've been a social cost based on how others may have perceived it, rather than a legal or criminal one.

I think he should have been made to visit the site and made to meet people who lost loved ones and filmed doing it.

Most TV channels showed it burning 'live'.
Should we all feel guilty for not turning off.
He only shared it on a private chat.
Some t*** then passed it to some t***.
Fine him, move on.

I thought that the letterbox's comment that "God created Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve” was quite amusing

Rubbish, it's like going on a speed awareness course for doing 33 in a 30. Waste of time.
The only crime was it being made public. Otherwise do Anything you want in private that doesn't effect anyone else that's legal.
Did the Steven Lawrence murderers get nicked for that under cover video? No.

The LGBTQ v Islam intersectionality battle is fascinating. The left just cannot work out which minority group to go for. As you can see by the current Oppression League table (which the BBC swears by), it's neck and neck on goal difference!

1. Transgenders
2. LGBTQ
3. Muslims
4. Indian subcontinent
5. Disabled
6. Non-white women
7. White women
8. Black men
9. East Asians
10. White men
11. Working class
12. Evangelical Christians
13. Jews

Vegans' application to the league is currently in review.

White men and the working class have withdrawn their entries from the current league. White men are the oppressors/ potential rapists/ sex offenders. And there is no class in this classless society.

Genetically I view sexuality like eyesight.

20/20 as the ideal just as heterosexuality is the ideal. People will have differing strengths of eyesight just as they will heterosexuality....especially females.

No one gets a say in whether they are born with 20/20 or not, same as sexuality. However, there is no equality between good and not so good eyesight.

The species is meant to reproduce.....encouraging less reproduction, and creating more competition between heterosexual males for fewer females is not holistically sensible policy.

Especially not for Europeans....who are only 1 in 10 of the world population.

I've just realised I've written a serious answer to an amusing comment.....ah well.

How long before gangs commit criminal/terrorist offences wearing the burka because they cannot be identified? They'd know the government is s*** scared to ban it for fear of 'Islamaphobia', yet why is it that Islamic countries such as Tunisia, Chad and Morocco do ban full/partial covering?
