It would depend on whether I did it or not but false accusations do deserve to be prosecuted.

Also if they knew he was a loon why not have an element of caution before accusing people in public.
There are very high up people who blabbed.
This sentence is also to give them protection and make them feel better.
He was a peodo as well though.

It's an utterly nuclear solution to a problem. Bears all the hallmarks of a hatchet job.

If they wanted to show behind the scene powers they would surely use a more clear profile case for the minions to see

Seems like some accusations are allowed to be announced in the public interest, and some aren't.
As far as I'm concerned all peados should be castrated and banged up for life - preferably a long way away from civilisation.

The Deep State at work.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

I know what he did was very wrong and he should rightly be punished but I think 18 years is a bit steep, especially as he is obviously a bit doolally tap.

It seems high but yes, victim impact. In addition he was a paedo, no idea what he actually did though

Defended his father while alive, only to later on betray him seemingly to gain acceptance.....very dodgy individual.

I pass no judgements upon aspects like the 'deep state' or what the rich get away with in terms of abuse. What is of primal importance is that justice is done based upon non subjective evidence.

However what I will say is that our Police service is compromised by politics and I tend towards old fashion notions like impartiality.

Basically, heads should roll for this, but as always with public services, they will no doubt be allowed to 'retire' so it doesn't spoil their nice gold-plated pension pot.

Misfeasance in public office??

'Police broke the law in the bungled probe into VIP child abuse fantasist Nick, a former High Court judge says today. Sir Richard Henriques said officers used false evidence to obtain search warrants'

And the police aren't politicised?

There was an interview with Lord Bramell in the Sunday Times, seems giving some post Saville PR was high on the Mets agenda. He also said his daughter had been asked if she was happy him playing with his grand daughters, and that the Met had tried to haggle on a settlement as there was limited funds. His wife died before his name had been cleared. This is a D-Day vet who got his MC from Monty.
