Aussies 142 - 8 but will wait to see how England bat before getting over exited! However so far so good.

yes a pretty decent day so far. Constantly have to pull back from my excitement as England are never far away from a spectacular batting collapse.

Can hardly have been a surprise when Jimmy got injured straight away again. He has barely played in ages. Not a good message for the youngsters. Australia in trouble at the moment but not having a decent spinner and being a seamer short could hurt England later in the game. We also need to not have a collapse. Woakes is really playing well.

The umpires are clueless. The commentators are too cricket to say it. They have barely got a decision right. Sack them and move on.

Wonderful play by Smith. Just seen him interviewed. Humble guy.

Enthralling test match so far which looks like it could go to the wire. Burns & Roy saw it out very well at the end. Burns looks like a new player. Bookies offering evens for a draw, will be a stressful watch tomorrow. Bairstow and Ali will need to up their game.
