Players like Cahill have earned so much over the years he has probably got a property portfolio as long as your arm and other business interest. My point was, if players such as Cahill/Wellbeck really are that keen on continuing to play, they can afford to lower their demands

We failed to get Kieran Clark from Newcastle who would have been a much better choice, so Cahill seems to be next on the list....IF his wage demands can be much reduced, he does bring a lot of authority and experience to the table ...so could possibly work out well to back up our CBS ..but could be a bit of a disaster...

Another ageing player more than likely on a huge salary!! Surely we can do better than this??? But then saying that just the kind of deal we will probably end up with. I really am beginning to think Freedman is stealing a living out of Palace!
