I wouldn’t be happy if we go back in for him. The bloke is a lazy luxury player and will become Benteke 2.0.

The way we're currently playing I don't see where he fits in with the starting XI. A lot is being asked of Ayew that I couldn't see Bats doing. On the other hand, he is about as sure a bet as we could afford in terms of someone who will get goals and in games where we are on top I would still fancy him more than Ayew to score. 22m in today's market seems reasonable if true.

I would be happy to see him back at Palace on a permanent basis but it would probably need a change of system to fit him into the team. He would need somebody alongside him such as Ayew doing the grafting work which would probably mean somebody from the midfield dropping out. At the moment January is a long way off and a lot can happen between now and then and if we are still top six then we might not need him

Very much agree with this. If Ayew continues form, I'd question the buying of a striker who would presumably want to be first choice, why would he swap Chelsea bench for Palace's? The man does and did get goals, I'm hoping enjoyed his time here and pricing is more than reasonable I would suggest.
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

At the moment everything is looking good but as we know with Palace it can change so quickly.

Take it with a pinch of salt as its the Express, but Chelsea apparently want £22m for him. In todays market, that's a steal. Offer £30 million plus Benteke.

For 22 million we should bite their hands off. He got 5 goals in 11 games for us last year. That’s more than the other three forwards got combined.

If he's available, it's an absolute no-brainer. Edited by Cucking Funt (09 Oct 2019 10.08pm)
