Is Jo Brand even employed by the BBC? Can you be sacked by someone you're not employed by? Huge if you can.

I also think freedom of speech really needs clarification. Across the generations and depending on where you sit politically or your religious persuasion there are so many different interpretations.
A case in point is the recent protests In Birmingham. You have the protesters saying their religion isn’t being respected and people saying they the protesters are homophobic, equality gone full circle.

Many are free agents. She hosts Have I... HIGNFY. Puts the bbc in a tricky situation. Sonyes, they can ‘sack’ her by not hiring her.

The Grenfel tower bonfire is a difficult one. It was never meant to be shared amongst the public. No one would have been shocked or offended if someone had not posted it on twitter,

You mean that it's like the private exchange between Iain Moody and Malky McKay that got the former sacked and the latter to lose the job that he was about to be offered

If you want to get involved in a forum debate, perhaps you could answer the question?
Are Muslims ,police ,the left snowflakes for getting upset ?

Yes, they overreacted in much the same way you’re doing now.

I am politically what many of you would describe as ‘the left’ however don’t really find this sort of joke funny.
You cannot pick and choose what is acceptable or not due to your political position. Danny Baker was sacked and on that basis Jo Brand should be also.

The Grenfel tower bonfire is a difficult one. It was never meant to be shared amongst the public. No one would have been shocked or offended if someone had not posted it on twitter, where as Brand and Baker made their jokes knowing people would find them offensive.

Wait, so ‘the left’ isn’t one all-encompassing group who have exactly the same views on everything? Dannyboy will be gutted.

I think I agree - an acid attack isn't funny, but a joke about it seemingly is.

Didn't Nigel Farage state he'd "pick up a rifle" if the Brexit referendum wasn't properly implemented? (correct me if I'm wrong)

Can't remember any of this outrage being thrown at Brand when Nige said that! Begs the question whether this is outrage, or really just partisan bias.

I didn't find what she said funny, and actually her whole speech hasn't been reported as directly after the battery acid quote she went onto state she disagrees with the whole milkshake thing, but people really need to get a grip.
