Until there's a rule saying that the players have to swap shirts at the end, then I'm out.

Oh, so you missed the end!? They are nude for the last 5 minutes of each game. A new rule they brought in.

I must admit to disliking the women pundits in men's football,

there in a right milf who introduces the boxing on sky, another commentating on cricket it's getting beyond a joke,

If you are referring to Isa Guha commentating on the cricket I rather like her as she has the right mixture of knowledge and humour and if that's not enough she is very very attractive too

They brought a ruler in for you but the result was disappearing.

I second this. What's not to like.

As for womens football, the BBC are clearly trying to big the competition up as they have the broadcasting rights. I hope England do well, but after watching yesterdays game I was still more interested in watching the mens dead rubber vs the Swiss.

Watched most of England v Scotland yesterday and came to the conclusion that why is the women's game trying to compete with the men's game when it is completely different?

For a start the women's game is more suited to a different size pitch and goals - more like what some of the U13 / U14 premier league academies play on - would condense the game and bring out the speed, intensity and technical skills rather than trying to match the men's sport for physicality.

Seeing the goalkeepers struggle with any high shots is exactly like watching the U13's play on full sized pitches with full sized goals. Any lofted shot from any distance is a certain goal.

Some good points here actually, in that there's no reason it needs to mirror the men's game in every single way.

6.1 Mill views apparently, so at a national level it certainly has a decent following now at least. [Link]

The England Scotland game yesterday wasn't too bad in fact England played some decent stuff in the first half. One thing that is good about the women's game is that they just get on with it after being fouled none of this rolling about on the floor and trying to get the other player sent off that pollutes the men's game.

LOL yeah, when the VAR penalty decision came down, all the players just turned and walked to the Scotland penalty box. I immediately thought what would have happened if it was a mens game.

Not sure how well England will do though, i thought they looked the part in the first half, but then got outplayed in the second and were lucky to get 3 points i think. Against a team that has never qualified for the WC before.

Emslie, the scottish winger, was probably the best player out there.

13-0!

Apparently the Thailand goalie went to put her head in her hands after the game...but missed!

Then, in her shame, she tried to throw herself under a bus passing outside the ground...but it went under her body!

Etc, etc.

No interest. 9th rate football. They’d get beaten by any men’s team 5 leagues lower than league 2. Slow and boring. It’s like 12 year olds in Tandridge league C.

^^^This....and all other similar posts.

Absolute toilet, along with Women’s Cricket!
