This is total BS peddled by the OP and others on here. We are playing in the best league in the world as proven by our clubs in Europe. The simple fact is that most of the time we have just not converted our many chances in the home games, but we have scored more per ratio of chances in away games. We have murdered West Ham 1-1, Cardiff 0-0, should have scored 10 Against Burnley, but only beat them 2-0. The only really bad performances were Brighton and Watford at home, i accept that, although in the case of the Watford game we still had about 20 odd good chances. If we were regularly losing and not creating, i could understand the anger on here, but to trot out the usual comments 'they don't try anymore' and 'they get paid too much' etc. That just does not wash

Like many of here I have been long considering the value of the season ticket, not in monetary terms as as that would leave me weeping, but the experience.

Having said that mine is renewed for next year because, well f*@k it.

If we are going to lose most games then so be it but I personally would feel the same if we won every game Macncity-esque, where would the joy come from? Maybe European games or 4 or 5 games against other 'big clubs', Brighton maybe?

Home form is absolutely dreadful and it is genuinely disheartening and upsetting more than enraging (although that is the immediate feeling) each week.

I for one will live in hope though, OP definitely has a point but to answer explicit question - I'm not sure, but it isn't enough for now. Also what would a boycott of home games do for us?

COYP!!!

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

I gave up my season ticket this year because they put it up 58%, yes,58%, in the main stand, as it was in the family section, although it was 70% adults for past two years! I don"t like the no cash policy either, and the results at home haven"t been great, though that ncomes with been in the epl! Was gutted we lost to watford, we could have really done with a cup final, or a day out in the semi! Finally, i am gutted that the stand does not look like it"s starting at the end of the season, i was looking forward to seeing the biggest cranes possible towering at the back of the Croydon skyline! Might renew when its built, if ever!

This is the typical Palace attitude, and acceptance of mediocrity. Could've, should've, might've - well we didn't.

With the squad we have, there are 4 or 5 teams who are above us who shouldn't be, and none of them have been in the league longer than us this time around.

I bet Cardiff were delighted being battered 0 - 0 away from home, and West Ham will look at it as 2 points dropped, as Selhurst Park has become the away team's banker. Huddersfield will certainly be looking at it that way on Saturday.

There's been some interesting replies on this tread.
We've been in the PL for 6 seasons now and from where we sit in the upper it's clear that alot of people are unhappy with the quality of football being served up and the atmosphere is turning slightly toxic. Poor old Roy gets slated, but he's too slow out of the dug out maybe he needs to be moved on to a different role at the such as director of football, and then Freedman can do one.

In my opinion the league for us has been a struggle since CYL scored that 89th minute winner away to Stoke (me and the kids were there – nothing like a late winner away eh!). I don't think it's asking too much for us to be able to hold our own by now in this league and be a mid-table team. I've got no aspirations of European football but I do what excitement and to see the boys score a few goals at home and show they have the skills to warrant their huge salaries. Some of the sitters missed over the last two season my mum could have scored and she's 78 and got two bad knees.

20 odds shots and drawing 1-1 and 0-0 highlights the issue that we just ain't good enough at home…if we're honest we're still paying for Pardew's cock ups.
Who's looking forward to Huddersfield on Saturday? In theory should be a game we'd win but after the last two lacklustre performances it'll be squeaky bum time for the 90 mins…hopefully we'll win so I don't have to kick the dog again.

There are no extra points for winning at home. We are where we are in the league, as our squad isn't quite as good as many seem to think. As a previous poster stated this is the best league in the world, but that's not good enough for some.
The price of a season ticket reflects where we are in the league and facilities on offer. I doubt if any season tickets at Arsenal, Chelsea or Spurs are much less than £1,000 for the worst seats.
Lower Tier Holmesdale £480 to see some of the best players in the world, seems good value.

I've had a season ticket with my daughter for some time now... Shes now 17 and 3 months ago she got a part time job in sports direct so works every Saturday and Sunday...

I said to her she was gonna miss most Palace games to which her reply was 'let's face it dad I'm not missing much.. we've been pretty s*** at home for quite a while now'...

I couldn't argue with that!!!

I suggest supporting one of the norf london footie outfits or for true home win security, go even further north to Manchester. If the lack of palace winning at home after 6 seasons in top flight football is really a problem then selhurst definitely ain't for you. Don't fight your instincts..

Oh dear, do I detect an essence of the lowest form of wit?

Folks are entitled to say what we've witnessed on the Selhurst pitch this season is mostly unimpressive ... I'd go as far as calling it $hite! If followers decide to vote with their feet next year then surely it's entirely their call.

Got to be honest and say I don't bother with home games now unless I happen to be in London. The buzz that I used to get has gone, maybe its the football, maybe its me but I know its quite depressing watching us at home now,its not even about the winning ( not that we do much of that) losing is never fine but at least show some pride and passion and go down fighting.

I now fly in for most away games,go with the lads, have a great day out ,sometimes flying direct to Manchester/Liverpool/Newcastle if we are up north and meet the lads up there.

Will be flying back for Spuds and Toon then not back until Cardiff and last home game of the season(cant be arsed about Arsenal ).

I have a home and away season ticket. Haven't made up my mind about what I'm doing for next season.

Dunno what its costing me per season, never worked it out. I know I don't tell the Mrs how much i'm spending every time I fly in...she would want a new outfit every week.

Sounds like you’re living the dream. Nice that Palace is part of it.

Home form should be our bread and butter, we should be on the front foot, getting at teams, slick passing and having a right go so the crowd gets lifted...we've been the opposite for a number of seasons now and 8 goals from open play and 3 wins this season is shocking by any standards...

Didn't the HF have a banner a season or two ago proclaiming Selhurst to be a fortress?

"Crystal Palace are the lowest ranked Premier League side (1.35 points per match), with Selhurst Park the sole Premier League ground among the top 10 easiest stadiums to travel to"

[Link]

How embarrassing...no wonder so many people are fed up with it...

Don’t mean to just quote you as there is a lot of moaning on here but can I ask, were you there when we got beat 4-0 at home to scunthorpe?
Regardless of what anyone says, this is still the most successful period in our history

Really? Let me ask you a question then. Where were you in the early nineties?

Back then when we finished third from top. I wouldn't say six consecutive seasons of avoiding relegation counts as our most successful period.
