Total and utter hogwash of course from someone who doesn't know me.

This thread is NOT about me, it's about comedians so I do think it is in all our interests that it returns to the subject matter.

Oh no, let's talk about you some more. I really haven't had my fill over the past couple of years.

Mapletree, he will just about say anything to get attention - just do what the rest of us do, ignore him, maybe even pity him, but don't waste your time engaging with him

An interesting quote from an attention seeker who seems to do almost anything to increase his count of yellow cards.

Kindly keep your opinions about other forum members to yourself

I have made it perfectly clear that the thread should return to the subject matter and not focus on 'Yours Truly'.I am not going to respond to any more of these barbs.

Any comedians to recommend ?

Frankie Boyle is very talented.....but after a while it gets you down a bit.

I'd probably like a show of two sections....Boyle to start and Michael McIntyre to finish.

Though I'd imagine they wouldn't like each other.

My favourite is Henning Wehn but unfortunately the tickets sold out straight away when he appeared locally

Henning Wehn’s presentation is very appealing somehow; a mixture of knowingness and naivety. Another one I like is Norm MacDonald who has a stand up film on Netflix.

I wouldn't say he was a favourite of mine but he was very good live when I saw his a couple of year ago.

I go to quite a lot of comedy gigs. Nish Kumar, Bill Bailey, Kevin Bridges, Micky Flanagan and Ross Noble were all very funny however Jack Whitehall was poor as were Kerry Godliman and Katherine Ryan.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.
