Depends on which side you're supporting in the 10-0 drubbing.

I suspect the majority were the same as me. Kids on a school night - beat the traffic etc. We dont normally leave early but midweek games are the exception unless its close. The 3rd goal was a killer (along with the 2nd and 3rd substitutes)

I pay 500 or so quid a season, so far for that 500 quid, I've witnessed 14 games, 3 wins & 10 goals, In my view thats not a great return for my money.
When we go 3-1 down to Man United, i have every right to go home 7 minutes early without being judged.

Whether a lifeless 1-0 or a humiliating 10-0 it's a sign of disrespect to leave early. You've got to take the rough with the smooth as the bishop said to the actress.

Or it’s a sign that you live in Cambridgeshire have a season ticket and want to get home at 12:30 as opposed to 1:30. Not everybody lives 30 min down the road anymore.

Is the correct answer.

I got home at quarter to one on Thursday morning after spending over £50 to support my team playing ManUre.
I have to catch two trains and two tubes then drive for twenty minutes.

I am a man of little understanding, so perhaps you would be kind enough to explain to me why my early departure (after the third goal), shows disrespect.

Rarely leave early but I confess I left on 90 mins on this occasion. Almost left at half time as had the misfortune of sitting in block G, lower tier.

What an utterly miserable part of the ground, could here a pin drop. I can't understand the mentality of people who want to sit in sheer silence whilst at the game. If you want to watch in silence you might as well stream it from home as you'll get a better view. Fcuking support the team and get behind them, that's all you can do as a supporter. Old people are excluded from this rant.

I sit in BlockJ, have met some very nice knowledgeable people over the last 3years sitting there. Is it miserable?...no. Is it quite?...sometimes and could be better and I wish it was (I am 62). So perhaps the singing section being located in Block E will help the noise spread, I hope so.
Having said this, I don't think we should be having a go at people who spend their hard earned money following Palace, to be fair our home form is nothing to write home about is it

Wish I didn't go in the end.

Never really understood the “you’re not a proper fan because you don’t stay till the final whistle “ thing. You’ve paid your money, you’ve supported the club and you decide to leave a couple of minutes early to beat the traffic. So what? It doesn’t make you any less of a fan than anyone who stays to the end.
