What's stranger about this deal is that it was called off because he got injured after the deal was agreed before January. Fiorentina have since signed him on loan so surely it wasn't as bad as palace must've first thought?

From what I have read, it was an operable injury that would apparently see him playing again before season end.

Not too late to get this guy. Fiorentina should sell at this time for under 10 million or around that. Make you a bet- see how he develops.

Not looking amazing this far this season of the Serie A. Just 1 goal and no assists.

I bought him for Palace on FIFA and he was immense! If computer games are accurate then he is really quick, which something we could do with. Of course they can't be that accurate as in FIFA I was able to buy players for Palace

Interesting to see him play last night against Spam. I thought he looked quite lively and intelligent. I wonder if this might be a deal the club revisit if Wilf goes? Experienced, quick and perhaps not too expensive.
