There are assumptions on here that we will still be in the PL next season which is far from certain. It does look as though Fulham and Huddersfield will be relegated but there are a number of clubs who are still possibilities and we are one of them.We are only 3 pts off the drop zone and whilst our goal difference is in our favour we are still very much in a relegation battle. Should have started the thread with "Providing we..." for pedants

Time for some more Academy products. Leicester brought this young Belgian (Thielman) in the January window. He played vs Spurs - a real class act in spite of 1-3 loss. Leicester played with the youngest team in PL on Sunday - and they were good. Wan bissaka never would have got a game if ward wasnt injured.

Need an attacking midfielder dead ball specialist. Somebody in the mould of Maddisson at Leicester. A player like this will fill a number of holes presently in attacking positions. The only caveat is that whoever comes the management must be happy to give him a go with a good extended run in the first 11.

Many left backs at reasonable prices: Jonathan Silva from Leganes, Ludwig Augustinsson from Werder Bremen, Marvin Plattenhardt from Hertha, Riza Durmisi from Betis (on loan at Lazio), Rafa Soares from Vitoria Guimaraes, Christian Gunter from Freiburg. Some more expensive options but who could still come to Palace are Philipp Max, Wendell from Leverkusen, Junior Firpo. I personally like Marcos Acuna from Sporting, who was converted from a left midfielder but is very feisty, the PL would suit him. From the Premier League, I woudn't go for anyone. There are some good left backs, but prices are too high. Creswell hasn't been a starter for a while now, but how much would they ask? Maybe they'll let him go cheap. I always liked Suttner from Brighton, but he's alreaady 31, so too old. Holebas is very good even at his age (his body has a different aging rate) but Watford wouldn't let him go as he has had a great season. I like the guy from Burnley, charlie Taylor and Bernard from Southampton, but I don;t think you can reach them unless you pat over 20 million or smtg. Players like Kurzawa, Alex Telles, Alex Grimaldo are out of our league I think and would prefer to move to better teams. Edited by mattteo (10 Mar 2019 11.59pm)

You wanna know what the best option is if PVA has a bad period: Jeffery Schlupp. Strong, tall, fast, he could be great as a side defender. Able to go forward too.

Edited by mattteo (10 Mar 2019 11.59pm) Charlie Taylor is not for me.Not the quickest off the mark and lacks that burst of pace in general.Got turned inside and out by Zaha for the 3rd goal.Never been that impressed by him. Regards 'Bernard', I think you mean Bertrand.
