Liverpool - robbed of a point
Great game yesterday and frustrating that I clearly saw the handball on the 4th goal from our away end!

Watford - robbed of a point when Ref missed a clear handball from Luka's shot. Keeper going the wrong way!

Brighton - we were terrible but Ref gave a pen when Macca cleanly got the ball. They would have been down to 10 men following the Murray dive headbutt. Robbed of a point.

Chelsea - Ref missed Morata offside and a clear foul on Sakho for the second. Robbed of a point.

Arsenal - Ref missed clear handball Lacazette. Robbed of 2 points.

Watford - Capoue raked zaha and Ref didn't send him off. Robbed of a point.

Liverpool - 2 dives by Salah. Robbed of a point.

Swings and roundabouts I know like Fulham not getting a clear Pen after Sakho's tackle and those games above we wouldn't close out but it is really annoying that it keeps happenning to us.

Refs continue to cost us points

I don't feel cheated by that unless the ref moved the goalposts

Refs can't move goalposts unlike our Prime Minister...

But maybe that's the fault of the modern game that is fast becoming a non contact sport and with TV pundits who often support such penalty appeals by declaring 'contact' was made so its a definite pen . Some of us would disagree with that statement

The Salah dive was worthy of a retrospective ban, although I won’t hold my breath. It’s barely been enforced since introduced, has anyone received it in the Prem, other than Niasse? We seem to see dives every week on MOTD which goes unpunished.

The sames goes for McArthur, who pulled out a shocker under the radar away at Wolves.

I don't think he can get a retrospective ban unless the ref is actually stupid enough to give him a penalty, as in the case of Niasse. In that case it's 2 matches.

I saw the handball from the away end. The ref and lineo were closer than I

Depends on the angle though, only saw it on TV, but there was a Palace player blocking the ref's view.

Ayew didn't push VD, he wrapped his arms around him and held him down, TV recon it was a rehearsed move, not a spur of the moment reaction, anyway, it worked perfectly.

That's why VAR is so badly needed and for FA to take retrospective action for deliberate diving (a.k.a 'cheating') e.g. ban for x 2 games. We're not the only team who should feel hard done by but there's no doubt that vital points are being lost that could be difference between staying up or being relegated.

One would hope VAR will remove these debates, but I doubt it will eradicate them. They'll Still be those who say that VAR got it wrong.

i believe they call it "blocking off"; seems that its Maccas job to do it to the oppo keeper at corners; add the oppo player trying to stop him, its amusing to watch; macca's doesnt watch the ball just spends his time making it as uncomfortable as poss for oppo keeper and ive no doubt it happens at our corners as well!!!

also happens when you have 3 off our players in a line just inside the 18 yrd box; its the job of 2 of them to block the defender marking the 3rd, who is normally at the back of the "line" for the ball!!

Pushed or held him down both a free kick and no goal.

It was a clever move, but in context of the subject we got away with it.

There was no reaction from Van Dick or Matip whatsoever!

Another inept decision by Pawson yesterday

It was obvious from the Arthur that it was a very bad tackle by Knockaert on Luka, how on earth Knockaert hasn't been sent off beggars belief.

It was one of 3 bad challenges on Luka, who was targeted for the usual dose of rotational hacking usually reserved for Wilf.

Another refereeing performance costing us yet another point. They are all completely rubbish aren't they
