Ok voice of the middle aged leftie here: Youngster seem to like it when a brand publicly have a social mission, this isnt a leftie thing, its a corporate thing. People don't seem to mind it when its Wendies doing their cheeky Twitter bants and Paddy Power taking the piss out of every football team other than their own but get outraged when its something that they don't fully agree with. Companies worked out they get more out of people if they view the company as having a brain, a heart, a soul, a conscience...Truth is they have none of those, nor would I be comfortable if they did, but it sells more, giving them attention positive or negative is a massive win for them. Dont expect it to go away anytime soon, this has proven to work, every bank is now claiming to be an ethical group there to look after your family. Every energy drink is there "To fight alongside you as you fight the evils in this world", every clothing company will claim they are changing the world and big companies will latch onto the safest big movement that's going at the time. Companies want to be viewed as influencers rather than corporations, this will not stop...and it sucks ass...

Looks like this one is going to blow the roof off. Typical that it’s produced by a British company with a female director living in London. Very bold of P&G to let this run. Be interesting to see what it does for them. There are a lot of Americans who support this sort of thing. Not sure they buy razors but I’m sure Gillette have done their homework. Be interesting to see what it does for them. There are a lot of Americans who support this sort of thing. Not sure they buy razors but I’m sure Gillette have done their homework. Yes the Arch really annoys me too, but if he stuck to morality rather than politics it wouldn’t be so bad. Then he could concentrate on his actual day job which is (much summarised) to encourage people to become Anglicans.
