His legs have gone on the playing side so again no thanks . We have a small very good first team squad which bviously is getting fatigued. We need quality subs and Ca aye certainly fits the bill If Luka got injured it would be really good to call upo Cabaye

Would feel very comfortable with Cabaye coming on with 30 minutes to go. Certainly better than anything else we have in that situation. Big yes from me.

Definitely rather have Cabaye coming on than Punch or Schlupp, but like Sako surely just a short-term thing.

The return of a legend on a free,on a short term contract would certainly meet Steve's criteria, being ex Palace,no transfer fee involved, risk free and bargain basement.

Weird if this and Sako are true, you have to wonder why we couldn’t have sorted this out in the summer. Not a terrible option to have Cabaye as cover. Certainly better than Punch as a sub and will know the team and the style of play. But have to say both this and Sako are on the whole pretty disappointing. Makes me think we are prepped for a big summer spend after cashing in on Wilf.

Just theorising and thinking outside the square. If true I would worry about the here and now as our survival in the league isn't guaranteed at all. Need to be looking forward with the team and not trying to consolidate in a weak position.
