Re City's 2nd goal - with mis*** crosses it's incredibly difficult to judge the flight of the ball.

Mods - another word there for the scunthorpe list I think.

Well Guaita produced another fine save which saved us a point. The guy is class.

But that we required a world-class save to rescue a point at home against these is a disgrace.

We may be witnessing the beginning of the end of the Hennessey era.

It was a stunning save. Not just the save but the fact he pushed it to his side. The difference, though, is in Guaita's distribution. That's head and shoulders better. Our players need to be looking to take up good positions the second they anticipate him getting the ball.

why what has he done wrong since jan open your eyes and stop the hatred, dont forget VG almost cost us against Leicester and got away with it

I think VG keeps his place for now, which is harsh on Wayne because he's been in the form of his life in 2018. And Wayne has received more flak than any other palace player I can remember, most of it unjustified imo

However, there's no way that WH would have made that save against Cardiff yesterday or the one against Vardy that he parried onto the post.

2 clean sheets in 3 games, beat the champions away from home and you want us all to remember that he ‘almost’ cost us a goal 3 games ago on his debut? Which he never, he was fouled.
Looks like a top keeper.

I endorse these sentiments.

In terms of his goalkeeping prowess, he was one of the best keepers in La Liga last season and was lauded for his efforts.

He's improved, of that there's no doubt however if you're going to be petty and bring up an 'almost' goal I'll counter with at least 2 goals which WH has parried into a strikers path instead of doing what a keeper should do and push it away at both West Ham and Br13hton.

VG has kept 2 clean sheets out of 3 games and in both of those saved us from conceeding with 2 fantastic saves.

It could be argued that VG has already earned us 3 points with his two incredible saves.

At the end of the day, whichever keeper is most likely to make those crucial 'point saving/winning' saves is the one for me. And imho, VG is that man.

Actually he did almost cost us against Leics. Many refs would not have given a foul so think on what VG was doing messing about in his area and allowing Vardy to get that close to take the ball off him.
