Not sure he's all that. Tend to agree. It looked like we dodged a bullet when he didn't sign and we went for Benteke instead . Since then he has produced zilch. No idea why we want to go in the line of fire again

Also Batshuayi and Benteke know each other from the Belgium squad,so no need to learn how each other plays. Would be a great loan signing.

Can we swap Benteke for Tosun, and sign Niasse! Everton seem to do well with big Belgian strikers.

What worries me about Niasse is that he's worked for a number of different managers since he joined Everton and hasn't been able to impress any of them.

He was signed by Martinez and other managers at Everton whilst he has been there are Koeman,Allardyce and Silva. Thing with Niasse is his unpredictability and inconsistency. In some games his touch is good in others he appears he cannot control the ball at all.Perhaps this is the reason he hasn't really impressed managers at Everton.

Well we can put this one to bed now then. As soon as pretty much any body else in involved we invariably lose out. If £14m was the price to get Batshauayi we should have bit their hand off for a player of his quality. But yeah after 6 seasons we are broke. What a sad state of affairs. Niasse on loan. We all know this is going to happen. Hopefully Roys heard of him.

We lost out on a player we had no interest in signing?
