And yet people like you still can't help posting irrational hate based on faith on internet fora.

There is nothing irrational about wanting to preserve my secular country and defend it against backward religions.

Living in Scotland, you should know all about the negatives of religion.
Parts of Scotland welcomed a significant number of Catholic migrants. Look how well that went.

That wasn't caused by religion, it was caused, as all wars are, by hate. Hate is born of fear. You aren't ever going to let go of your fear which is why it is you, the atheist, that starts all the faith-based fighting on here by posting faith-based hate completely off topic and a propos of nothing whatsoever.

Incidentally those Catholic migrants and their decendants include my wife, my children, my late parents in law who were the most peace-loving harmless and kind people I could have met, a whole lot of my friends and colleagues and lots more besides so I'm on pretty safe ground telling you that you haven't the slightest idea what you are talking about. Perhaps you are confusing "Catholics" with "Celtic fans"? And even if you are you're still wrong. The problems come from a minority of people on all sides who like you can't deal with their own fear, hate and prejudice.

Far from defending your secular country it's people like you that are turning it into the hate-filled cesspit of bigotry and control that it's becoming.

Or are you just a troll? I used to think you at least had the courage of your convictions but now I'm not sure you're even real.

A quick check of my facts confirms a point of information.

Woad never has, and cannot be, grown in Scotland. It is an Anglo-Saxon word for a dye grown in England and Europe but never found anywhere north of York. It was chiefly used by the Anglo-Saxon armies form the setllement through the middle ages.

The Picts (the Britonnic peoples who were in Britain before the Romans and were displaced to the north and west following the Settlement areund the fifth century) used war paint but it was made with minerals.

Woad is no longer grown in the UK but it still has uses in dyeing textiles and making ink.

For people ostensibly against all these 'snowflakes' ruining everything, it's absolutely hilarious how upset you're all getting about something that doesn't affect you in the slightest

Irrational hate affects everyone.

I don't see why one person's thological standpoint should affect another provided that each party acts with due sensitivity and tolerance.

I've seen this quite a few times now I regard it as pseudo-science. It's the use of specific words over others to discredit. It's not commitment to accuracy, it's commitment to bias.....the 'hate' word is the left's version of the old heresy word from the religious zealots.

Breaking down emotions into their most rudimentary components doesn't take anyone nearer the truth.....We can boil any emotion down to the survival imperative....positive for me/negative for me.

However, that says nothing about what actually is.

A ridiculous post. Religion is divisive by it's very nature.
How is it hateful to prefer secularism? That is emotive, ideological, illogical claptrap.

If you want to avoid 'hate' then remove one big excuse for it. Religion.
Of course I haven't even mentioned the ignorance and dogma. Imagine the country we would live in if religion had continued to reign supreme. We would still believe that the Earth was a few thousand years old or may be made in seven days. A bit of witch hanging? Let's not forgotten burning in hell for your sins or perhaps you would prefer stoning people for heresy? There is plenty to choose from.
If wishing to avoid a return to all that insanity makes me a hater then I'm proud to be one.

The day we tolerate such things is the day we should just give up.

How would you know? We had a lefty on here who tried to shut this site down. I wouldn't have been surprised to find out that he tried to find out where I worked in an attempt to sack me as well.

People's livelihoods and careers have been damaged by these people. A lot of people just don't say anything because these ideological bigots currently hold sway.

And good riddance to him and his gang too. one can even post a slightly right-wing view without attracting a storm of abuse and malice.

Is it even right wing? I believe that globalism is a big part of the problem. It is directly or indirectly driving all of this nonsense.
Our overlords want us a subservient as sheep and divided for good measure.
