I personally have always rated Wayne as a good premier league keeper. This season he IMO has gone up a grade or 2 which I guess could be down to some really good coaching.

if we are to have any chance of staying up with any absence of stress, we will need Hennessey on top form between now and the end of the season.

Written off by many, Hennessey has rejuvenated his career. One suspects that clubs will cast their eyes in the direction of Guaita in the January window - a keeper who played with some aplomb in La Liga last season. One can only speculate if he will still be with us after the window has closed.

True... Guaitia is too good as second string - it's funny how some are rating him purely on WH being bad, but this season he hasn't put a foot wrong. It's a tough one. At least Hodgson isn't doing a pardew and dropping speroni saying 'oh he is still no 1 at the club, it's just that the rest are doing better at the mo, lol whilst he shuffled around 3 keepers then sent 2 packing. WH deserves his spot now, but ironically he has to dropped for a game, just so we can see what Guaita can do, he deserve that. The time is now in my opinion.

another good game has been working hard since the new keeper coach come in, back end of last season he was already turning things around,i was in Jules camp only because Wayne was making bad mistakes,he needed drooping regrouping then sent back out, when BFS was in charge the goalkeeping coach then helped Wayne but sadly Wayne stopped improving, new coach and age like most keepers he as improved long may it continue

With respect, I really cannot see Hodgson dropping Hennessey just to see how Guaita does in the PL.Guaita has played in La Liga so Hodgson is fully aware of his capabilities.

Probably the change of goalkeeping coach has benefited Wayne.

After a Man of the Match performance away at United?

That's going to boost Waynes confidence no end. What a ridiculous suggestion.

his improved form can be due in part to having a very competent replacement waiting in the wings. nothing like a bit of competition.
