Taylors lovechild - you have summed it up brilliantly. Palace's £250k equates to about 500 season tickets. So about 500 of us have actually paid for his going away present. Excellent!

At the end of last season, it was reported that only 4 PL clubs were paying all staff the living wage. Richard Scudamore's salary package was worth in excess of £2.5m last year. But, yeah, let's bung him an extra £250k each. Edited by the despotic banana (14 Nov 2018 5.43pm) Yep, I'd rather we shared out that amount between all the non-playing and executive staff at the club.

If Scudamore is such a great negotiator why didn't he negotiate a better pay deal with bonuses. He has been in the job long enough.

Football has changed so much since the birth of the premier league and sky. TV coverage is immeasurably better. The live attending experience is very different but probably better. The sport overall has successfully encouraged female inclusion.

As a woman who has supported Palace (along with a number of other female cousins/wives/daughters of cousins, we have been there since the 1950's without any problem. We certainly didn't need the benefits of tv to 'open the game up' to us, and neither did the considerable number of women who sat around me in the LH from the time the new stand was built. Unless, of course you are talking about women playing football, which is a whole different thing!

Or "gash", as Scudamore calls them.

Saw something on t***ter earlier that said we were one of five clubs that have (so far) refused to pay.
Will this be five? It's gonna be five! It IS five! |

We should refuse to pay on the grounds that it would tip us over the FFP limits
