Well, I think we have to support the 'let's rake America great again' campaign. Clearly all Californians should be out in the woods at weekends, just like all the Finns It's this kind on nonsense that results in Trump being treated like he doesn't know what he is talking about. Much of the time, quite simply he doesn't. He just makes it up and then uses smoke and mirrors to disguise his lack of rigour. The unfortunate effect is that, meanwhile, we downplay or ignore global warming. And this is very cruel to those who have lost people in the fires, they will start to blame forestry workers which likely is just not correct. Edited by Mapletree (19 Nov 2018 10.12am)

Edited by Mapletree (19 Nov 2018 10.12am) I know it's easy for the media to continually smear Trump over his choice of words but he is actually correct. It's the dead trees and dry, flammable areas that has led to the catastrophic spread of fire. Of course it won't be the polices from California governor Jerry Brown, who instead blames global warming (we're actually having less fires). Lack of forest management seems to be the problem, whereas the state has opted for the strategy of fire suppression. Power lines may have been to blame for the fire. Brown vetoed a 2016 bill aimed at mitigating fire risks from utility equipment. Edited by Penge Eagle (21 Nov 2018 1.28am)
