I really cant see Ruben being available in January, though if we were to go for him, id rather we actually bought him than loaned again, for two reasons mainly, 1) we are going to further develop him to chelseas gain...AGAIN 2) Ive heard through different outlets they will want a huge loan fee which would essentially buy someone outright. Dont get me wrong though, id love to Ruben back in red and blue, but id rather he was here to stay if it were the case.

Came off the bench again today and scored for Chelski. Don't think he will be rocking up to us in Jan. Meyer is looking good tho.

He certainly had an impressive game yesterday but he was playing for a team at home which dominated a poor side.That said, his performance will be a real boost for his confidence.

RLC would be the perfect match for both of us. He won't walking into a top 7 team. He needs regular football. Playing for us demonstrated he'll get called up for England. Not sure why some people think he won't come to us or perhaps he's now too good for us?? We've ended up mid table last couple of seasons. That's a pretty good statement for a player of RLC's quality. Agreed someone else might buy him and we might be priced out but I can definitely see him being loaned to us in Jan. I bloody hope so!!

Don’t share your optimism PF as even if offered to us doubt SP will be happy paying the large loan fee Chelsea will demand plus wages.

Chelski were only 1-0 up when he was brought on and made it comfortable for them. Think he will stay there and be utilised as such. If he keeps on scoring/playing well he could easily get more gametime there.

I hear your point but like to think we might offload one or two which will help. There's definitely going to be competition but I feel RLC's preference would be us as he can fit straight back into the team. To have him, Wilf and Meyer would be very exciting.
