Start Sorloth for 3 consecutive games, instead of 10-20 minutes off the bench and assess him then. Scores goals for Norway, so can't see why he can't for us.
On the other hand, Jordan Ayew just looks Championship standard.
Sell Benteke in January and use the money to add a goal scorer to the side.

All 3 things you say are very logical and a good assesement

One problem: who'd buy Benteke at a price that wouldn't involve the club taking a huge financial hit?

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

I swear, at first it was "we got this guy for 30 million, we're gonna make twice that when we sell him!"

Then it was "he hasn't come true but no need to sell, he's still a 30 million worth striker"

Then it was "I don;t know how many team would pay 15-20 million to get Benteke off our backs. Maybe the Chinese??"

Last summer was like "Sell him for 10!!"

Now it's "who's gonna pay money for Benteke?"

If he keeps up his "performances" for 1 more year, a time will come when the President will have to call him in his office to have a chat: "Son, I wish you all the best in your career, but we can't go on like this. The manager doesn;t rely on you anymore. You can either go a free player and find game time that you really need some place else or you can train with the reserves until your contract expires. But I know you'll make the reasonable choice, cause all players want to play. I wish you all the best in your future!"

Benteke: "I'm staying! Point me to the reserves locker rooms!"

Some really bad ones have been mentioned.

The problem, however, is that the ones we have a the moment - Benteke, Sørloth, Ayew - are the absolutely worst in the Premier League.

Zaha will score some wonder goals, but noone else will, and he cannot keep us up alone.

Sorloth has scored 2 in 15 for Norway. Ayew has 12 in 46 for Ghana.

So I don't think international performance is a good enough reason to start Sorloth over Ayew.

I think Ayew looks ok, I believe he'll.come good for us. Sorloth, not so much. But here's hoping.

Can't expect to recoup on a CB but at least reduce the wageb bill even if we have to contribute.

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

No argument here, Adebayor. Fortunately for us it was only for a few months but he did cost us a bit wages. Crazy signing! Mind you after Benteke failed to score against Southampton with that header, I might have second thoughts!

What on earth were we doing today playing Townsend as our Centre Forward for 10 minutesJust give Sorloth a chance We have two wingers at the moment trying to pass it into Ayew so he can score !! He is pants and they should be crossing it into the box, taking men on ,I'm afraid we are suffering from the problem that we've had for the last three years since we let Murray go on a free (THANKS BRIGHTY FOR THAT AND THE AGGRO WITH THE FANATICS)

WE NEED TO BUY A FKING STRIKER WHO SCORES GOALS

IIRC Adebayor came with a reputation as being a poisonous cvnt and posted videos of himself dragging tyres around to prove his "fitness". Fitted in well with Pardew's club ethos.
