If we play like we did against Southampton or Huddersfield we will lose, Newcastle have had some tough games and played well, we have had Easy games and played shyte. No Point dressing it up ladies and gents. We really haven't played well since Liverpool. We lucked out against Huddersfield, and got what we deserved against Southampton, and Watford. We look slow and tired already, Saturday is the perfect chance for Meyer to start instead of Luka Who has not been at the races so far this season. I know I sound like the harbinger of doom but recent performances have not been great at all. But this is Palace so we will probably win 8-0 lol

2-1 to us, with them going down to 10 men early for a nasty tackle on Wilf

Some kind souls have predicted a 1-1 and whilst our supporters will be very disappointed at failing to secure a win, perhaps it is worth considering that whilst Newcastle have not made the best of starts they have played Tottenham,Chelsea, Man C and Arsenal and only lost to each of them by a single goal.Tough start for them in terms of fixtures. Yeah we’ve got our tough run after Newcastle, Bournemouth a TV, Wolves h, Everton a TV, We’ll have Arsenal h TV, Chelsea a TV, Spurs h TV, Man U a. Fortune to edge Fulham due to the ref and lucky to survive the attacks v Huddersfield. Not complaining but we’ve got to deserve and nail some points soon.

Sorry, but if we can't beat Newcastle at home, it's going to be a very long, hard season. Providing we go at them from the start and not start as badly as we have done most games so far, comfortable 2-0 wim.

My prediction is I will be slaughtered by half time and the score will be hopefully 1-0 to Palace which we will desperately try and hold onto in the second half. If Shelvey doesn't play I reckon we will have a better chance than if he does. We need to run the midfield in this match so I would play Meyer, Kouyate, Luka and Townsend with Wilf, Ayew up top. McArthur to come on for Luka if he is still not performing and Kouyate to then drop deep. I do think Roy will persist with McArthur over Meyer which could be a mistake.

We're in the Prem, every season will be long and hard whether we beat Newcastle at home or not. Add to that historically we have a poor home record against them and as others have pointed out they've not won a game but played 4 teams out of the probable top 6 finishers. If they play Rondon and put as many crosses in as Huddersfield we'll be in trouble. Having said all that balance of probabilities would suggest a draw.....so Palace 5 Newcastle 1.

I have to just wonder which of our strike force will score a hat-trick in this landslide victory?

If Roy has looked at the Arse game last weekend and noticed the improvement of them when Torreira came on and how he pushed their midfield forward and plays Meyer from the off then we will have a good chance of a win. Otherwise I think we will be heading more likely for a draw, probably 0-0.
