I don't take you seriously.....sorry.

Nothing you say has any connection to reality.

At least you are always good for a laugh or two. That comment actually made me laugh out loud. In any contest to determine who is least connected to reality on this forum there would undoubtedly be a few outstanding contenders. However, you would likely be odds on to win. I wouldn't bet against you for sure!

For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally.

Well, we are both getting a good laugh out of it.

As for what's coming to Cornwall over the next few generations I think my children will be continuing my laughter for me.

Find me stuff.

The same Spectator that’s owned by the Telegraph?
Here’s an article from the Spectator that supports Russia Today as it doesn’t deal in fake news:

Maybe it’s an attempt at humour? If so, it passed me by.

Tim Pool I don’t know about, but here’s an article exaggerating a situation and making a claim disputed by the police.

You can argue the toss about these specifics. My point is, we should view all media with suspicion. The more political they are, the more suspicion I view them with.

You're left wing....of course it did.

Argue the toss? You haven't produced anything here that legitimatizes not trusting these sources.

I told you. I don't trust the MSM.

The alternative ones I trust more than others haven't been knocked at all by these weak points you made against them..

You misrepresent a Spectator article in a silly way and then for some reason state that because Tim Pool disputed an event with Swedish police that somehow means we should doubt him.

I know about this incident being a follower of his channel. Didn't you read the article you linked to?
He actually has footage that backs up what he says.....perhaps before you make claims you should investigate.

Brexit has now developed into Civil War,and the Guardian,Blair,O'Brien et al are in open rebellion.
They had better watch out because the loses in Civil Wars tend to end up being topped.Who's for public executions?

You did choose to argue the toss after all :0).

But that’s not my point.

We’re in an era of trusting certain media absolutely, and refuting others absolutely. That can’t be right.

As the Tim Pool clip shows, the same situation can be interpreted very differently. Who is to say Tim is totally correct in his interpretation?

Interpretation? They followed him out.....It's viewable in the video....Looks pretty plain to me....of course if you want to think they just happened to be going in the same direction.

Regardless.....as I said, there isn't really any reason to doubt the few sources that I do actually give credence too.

I may differ with Pool on some of his politics but I've found him to be very fair.....I can recommend him to you.

Ok if you believe that then great. But let others believe it about their media choices too eg lefties & the guardian.

Errrr....not sure that I'm stopping them.

I'm laughing at examples from a particular source.....My links picked out the ridiculousness of them.

If you think Tim Pool's reporting is comparable you are welcome to that view.....It'll be something else to laugh at.

As Elon Musk correctly pointed out....some media sources are better than others.

Everything is subjective:

Murder / Retribution
Trailblazer / Weirdo
Lost / Exploring
Freedom fighter / Terrorist
Patriotic / Bigoted
Open minded / Naive

So which is right or wrong?

Who gets to decide which news sources are credible?

You take a position.

Relativism is an inch away from nihilism. I don't believe either is 'useful' outside of the theoretical.

Word play is semantics. All words are conceptual.

Of course not everything written in the Guardian is nonsense by a long mark.....However, some of it is....This is my 'interpretation'.

We could discuss philosophy or we could discuss who are the more objective new sources from an objective and empirical sense.

There is no requirement to agree......Some people in Africa still practice witchcraft, some people don't. Choice is paramount to both.

I make the choice to laugh at witchcraft for obvious reasons...Similarly I make the choice to laugh at this Guardian article.

It’s very easy. You look for facts.

And here in lies the rub.
